Stanley Deetz

Bio

Stanley Deetz, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Graduate School; a President’s Teaching Scholar; Director of the Center for the Study of Conflict, Collaboration and Creative Governance and Peace and Conflict Studies Program; and Managing Director for Institutional Change for the Center for STEM Learning at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is author/co-author of over 140 scholarly articles and author/editor of twelve books on collaborative interaction and organizational change. As a consultant for several agencies and businesses he works with the design of communication processes for cross-functional and multi-party decision making and continuous improvement change processes. He has served as a Senior Fulbright Scholar and is a National Communication Association Distinguished Scholar and an International Communication Association Past-President and Fellow. He has lectured and worked on projects in twenty-one countries.
