Jay W. Vogt is an organizational development consultant with thirty years of change management experience working with nonprofit organizations like Harvard and Audubon, corporations like Fidelity and Bayer, government agencies and entities, and fast growth businesses like Stonyfield Farm and Applegate Farms. His competencies include facilitation, collaboration, discovering shared vision, strategic planning, teamwork, and change management. Jay is a master at facilitating large groups, having led hundreds of events with fifty to five hundred participants. His expertise spans industries including healthcare, education, organic and natural foods, social entrepreneurship, footwear, arts and culture, human services, disability services, environment, and others.

Jay is a subject matter expert, and published author, in creating a shared vision, strategic planning, nonprofit board governance, teamwork, and facilitation. Jay has created numerous innovative process technologies, including: Grounded Visioning, a methodology for discovering shared vision; Board Roles to Board Goals, a methodology for creating annual board work plans; and Essential Strategic Plan, a methodology for effective, engaging, and affordable strategic planning for small nonprofits.
