Bio

Cynthia Way, a Master Certified Coach, founder and President of Way To Go! inc., helps leaders and teams achieve breakthrough results. She provides executive and leadership coaching, team coaching, leadership development programs, facilitation, strategic planning, team retreats, keynote speaking, plenary sessions, systems thinking and customized training. Her signature offerings are Team Survival Intensive, a unique approach to teaming and Leader as Coach, fostering a culture of inspiration, accountability and respect with proven results that have a positive impact in the workplace. Her keynote topics include Living From Passion & Purpose and How Your Thinking Impacts Your Results.

Cynthia served as Council Member on the Society for Organizational Learning (SoL) Board of Trustees 2007-2009, was a co-founder of the SoL Coaches Community of Practice (CCOP) and formerly served on the interim Board of the SoL Global Coaching Community. She was part of a large-scale multi-year change effort in a prominent IT organization within DoD, and provides training and coaching domestically and internationally.

Clients include more than 24 Federal agencies, various nonprofits, and private industry to include Airbus, International Finance Corporation and World Bank.

While her coaching and consulting career started in 1991, Cynthia brings a unique background: cross-cultural experience from working with multi-cultural executives, working for the American Embassy in West Africa for two years, living in Mexico, teaching an empowerment course to women and children at a homeless shelter, a successful 13 year career within the Central Intelligence Agency on the executive track, receiving a Denman award for her role in a private sector merger and acquisition with AT&T, being an active volunteer in the Cambodian-American community and launching a humanitarian effort called Big Big World Project (www.bigbigworld.org) to break the cycle of poverty for Vietnamese orphans. She is also the adoptive mother of two multicultural children.
